Tom Kuthy - Founder

Tom Kuthy is an expert in all aspects of the acquisition and sale of small to mid-sized investment property in the Dallas area. The founder of Keller Williams Investment Property Group, he and his team have been responsible for closing over 170 investment property transactions worth in excess of $65,000,000 in four states.

After receiving his MBA in marketing from the University of Michigan, Tom rose through the ranks of Fortune 500 companies, eventually becoming Vice President of Marketing at Frito Lay in Plano, TX. In 1998 Tom left the corporate world and began investing in real estate in North Texas.

After acquiring a sizeable portfolio of investment properties in Plano, Tom and his family relocated to Ann Arbor, Michigan where he first became a RealtorŪ, specializing in investment real estate with The Charles Reinhart Company. Within one year he became the top seller of investment real estate and within 4 years his Kuthy Investment Group outsold the next 5 best sellers of investment real estate, combined.

Tom's investment real estate marketing techniques have been so successful that they have been trademarked, copyrighted and licensed for large upfront fees and royalties to brokers outside of Texas. He has personally bought, sold, fixed and flipped, or held investment property worth over $3,000,000. Ryan Heddleston - Acquisition Specialist/Team Leader

Ryan Heddleston is a seasoned investment real estate agent and an experienced investor in his own right. During the past four years as a licensed agent, he has helped numerous investors acquire investment property and has worked with large developers to acquire land for residential development.

The founder of Deacon Real Estate Development in 2005, Ryan has been able to amass a sizeable investment property portfolio that focuses on positive cash flow and equity capitalization. He currently oversees the operation of 20 investment property units valued at over $1,200,000.

Before becoming a real estate investor/agent, Ryan was a successful corporate salesperson in the logistics and technology integration industries. Ryan received his Bachelors degree in Marketing (Cum Laude) from Texas Tech University. Ryan and his wife Ashley live in the Northwest Dallas area.

Nancy Kuthy - Director of Operations

Nancy Kuthy brings a wealth of experience to the Investment Property Group. A graduate of Eastern Michigan University's BBA program with a degree in marketing, Nancy's professional experience spans residential mortgage lending, secondary market loan acquisition, mortgage loan closing, title examination, and income tax preparation. This diverse range of experience makes her an expert in all phases of a typical investment property closing.

At the Keller Williams Investment Property Group, her primary responsibilities are to oversee the development and maintenance of our vast database of investment property owners, and to ensure consistent application of best marketing practices to investment property listings.

In addition to her marketing responsibilities, she handles all of the details of moving a signed contract towards a smooth closing, ensuring that all transactions are closed as expeditiously as possible for our clients.

Cary Efurd - Property Manager

Cary Efurd, handles property management for the Investment Property Group. Cary is well respected among property managers throughout the DFW Metroplex and the United States. As a member of the National Association of Residential Property Managers (NARPM), Cary is past president of the Dallas chapter and in 2005 received the coveted Presidents Award, an honor given annually by the national association to the one member who demonstrates integrity and goes the extra mile in service. Cary was selected for this honor from over 2000 nationwide members of NARPM. Additionally, Cary is currently serving as the 2007 Vice-Chair of the Leasing and Property Management Committee for the Metro Tex Association of REALTORSŪ and will be the 2008 committee chair. Cary has compiled a long list of accomplishments during his decade's tenure as a property manger, including 2006 Top Producer honors in 2 categories with Keller Williams Realty. Cary believes in doing what he says he will do, answering the phone and returning calls, same day always, the same second, if possible. Cary took his first real estate class in 1990.
